God’s Eye Ascending [Lunar]
Though removed from the mortal plane, the gods still watch the world from their blessed moon, the God’s Eye. Since it hung directly overhead at your birth, many assumed that the heavens themselves took note of you, and watch you still.

Benefit: Though your destiny is far from certain, the details of your past are not. Seers have watched you with great anticipation, and bards have exaggerated your tales beyond reason.

It is difficult for you to move without attracting attention; you have an inherent penalty equal to your character level to all attempts to hide your identity, including some Bluff and Disguise checks. Those who do recognize you have likely heard tales of your impending greatness. You gain an inherent bonus to your Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Perform checks equal to one-fourth your level when dealing with those who have heard of your legends before meeting you (rounding up; if you have more levels in bard than any other class, this benefit increases to one-third). If you have the Leadership feat, you gain a like bonus to your Leadership score.

You may not gain the Membership (Thieves’ Guild) feat.

To determine whether a given character has heard of you, the DM makes a reputation check (DC 20). Your reputation check’s result is the die roll + your character level + your Charisma modifier, +2 for each alignment, class, membership, nationality, prestige class, race, and religion you have in common with the character; characters with pertinent Knowledge skills may reroll after conversation, and your disguises (if any) may protect your true identity.

Gloried [Quest]
Whether through honest labor, clever contrivance, or pure luck, your actions have brought you incredible renown.

Prerequisites: You must be held personally responsible for a great act of heroism, such as saving a respected monarch’s life or conquering or destroying an ancient and powerful enemy. This should be an eventual triumph, the reward for a climactic victory at the end of a campaign, and the DM must consider carefully when approving the feat’s purchase. Your alignment may be no further than one step away from one of the common alignments of a nation (typically as follows: LE/LN for Deverenia, LG/LN for Dwarven lands, LE/CE for Elven lands, LG/CG for the Free Kingdoms, LE for Misear, and LE/NE for Nothrog lands.

Benefit: While dealing with people who recognize you and approve of your actions, you receive a circumstance bonus equal to 1/4th your character level (rounding down) on all Charisma-based checks, and for Intimidate checks this extends even to those who disapprove of your actions. The purchase of this feat also qualifies you for the “great prestige” modifier to your Leadership score, if any.

Unfortunately, you tend to draw more than your fair share of attention. Unless disguised or otherwise incognito, any Gather Information checks to determine your whereabouts, current condition, and companions are automatically successful (as though with a natural 20) unless you are more than 30 miles from any settlement of 30 or more people in communication with the outside world.

Special: If you are a dwarf or dwarf halfbreed, you have earned your true name, although you gain no additional mechanical benefit.
