Spells Preview #2
While
arcane spells and divine spells differ in
their origin (the former being a matter of personal will, the latter of
asking for aid from an outside force), they also vary in method. The
Words of Power, while the source of all known magic, each allow for
their own, specific uses. The Glyph of Fate, for instance, allows vague
insight into the future, but combines with the Sigil of Bonding to try
to ensure success or failure in a single challenge, such as with the
spell insight. Though all spellcasters may draw upon each of the
Words of Power, divine spellcasters tend to favor the use of some Words
over others, while arcane spellcasters use variations of the Words,
rarely favoring any.

Spell Preview
In the Accordlands,
a powerful wizard or pious cleric can shape the very fabric of reality
through their power and faith. The Warlords of the Accordlands RPG
features several new base classes for casters, and many new, powerful,
and unique spells for each. This preview gives an example of new spells
for necromancers, illusionists, clerics, and druids.
